The 16th Annual Camaro Nationals
will be held at the Frederick Fairgrounds,
Frederick MD June 20 & 21, 2014
The Camaro Nationals is a One-of-a-Kind Camaro and Firebird show, offering a full complement of judiging options. Classes are offered in Non-Judged, Participant Judged, 200 Point Show and Shine Judged (Hearbeat Classes),
1000 point Judged (BowTie Classes), and 5000 Point Concours Judged for both Restored and Original Camaros (Legend Classes).
The 2013 Event was a great success. Approximately 400 Camaros of all 5 generations converged at Frederick Maryland Fairgrounds. The new location of the food vendors, created a more natural flow beween the open show field and the 4 indoor display buildings. Building 9, which houses the Concours classes and the special displays was fantastic. To top it all off, the Annual Charity Auction raised over $7000 for the Silence of Mary Home.

to spread out and absorb the views.
Plenty to see outside. Where else can you see 400 Camaros or more of all generations in one venue?

Frequently Asked Questions
about the Camaro Nationals
Do I have to Pre-Register?
No......but day of show entrys will only have the choice of non - judged or Participant Vote judged Classes. Points Judged classes are limited to pre-registered cars, due to the required planning, and arranging for the proper judges being available.
What if I don't want to have my Camaro judged?
No problem! There will be over 100 Camaros at the Nationals that will not be judged.....mine included. There is no stygma associated with just wanting to have fun.
Can I get a copy of my score sheet if my car is judged?
Legend, BowTie, and Heartbeat judging sheets are emailed out automatically about 3 weeks after the show. If you do not provide an email address, hard copies will be mailed. We do not mail awards, so please make arrangements for someone to pick up a possible award if you will be leaving early.
If I leave before the Awards Ceremony, and I win an award, how can I get it?
Trohies, Plaques, and Goodie Bags will not be mailed or shipped. Judging is on Saturday aftnoon, and the Awards Ceremony is sheduled just 2 hours after judging closes. Otherwise, you can have a friend pick it up for you. Winners will be posted on the website a few days after the event. This list remains posted until October of the same year.
Can I sleep on the showfield in my tent?
No.....but there is a camping area inside the fairgrounds near the showfield. Many registrants will be found in the camping area having a great time (i.e. NastyZ/28.com club). Camping can be arranged for on the registration form. Only registered cars are permitted to camp on grounds.
How big is the show, Really???
This really has been the largest all-generation Camaro show we know of for the last seveal years. You can expect 400 or more Camaros of ALL generations on grounds. We offer 48 Classes in 9 Levels .......from non-judged to concours. Fun for the Whole Family. Even a moon bounce and slide for the kids. The charity dinner is always a great time, and the evening hotel parking lot gatherings are legendary.
Can I let my Camaro on the show field overnight?
Yes, Camaros can be kept on the show field overnight.....the grounds are fenced, gated, and guarded. Although there are usually a dozen or so cars covered up for the evening on the showfield, most are driven back to the motels.
When do I need to arrive?
If you are in a display class or concours class that will be in Building 9, you must be on grounds by late Thursday afternoon, as cars must all be in place that evening. In order to get all the cars properly positioned in the building, cars in the back of the building must move in first, etc. When the show opens on Friday, there will be no time to start moving things around. The rolling cruise to downtown Frederick is also on Thursday evening.
The showfield officially opens Friday morning, and the BowTie and Legend Classes begin judging Friday Morning.
A good percantage of people arrive Friday. This gives them time to get settled in and start geting their cars cleaned up. Also, the Charity Dinner and Auction is on Friday evening.
Saturday is a must for everyone. Judging in participant vote and Heartbeat Classes gets started around 11AM, and awards are at 4PM.
Is there room to park my car trailer and truck?
Frederick Fairgounds has a large area for parking trucks and trailers (they can remain connected). You can reserve a spot by filling out the info on the registration form, or you can arrange for a spot at the gate.
